e61 Research Manager Lachlan Vass joined Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC)’s The Business last night to discuss recent inflation data and the bigger than expected Government Budget surplus.
Lachlan noted that while the most recent monthly inflation data is encouraging, Government should show restraint in their spending and prioritise supply-side reforms to improve the economy’s capacity in the medium term.
