In a recent article, e61 research director, Dr Gianni La Cava, questions the merits of increasing the JobSeeker payment only for older recipients. He shows that young JobSeeker recipients are much more financially vulnerable on average and any change in the JobSeeker program at the forthcoming Budget should consider the financial situation of younger recipients too.
